Jojo pulls at the Karmiel Dance Festival

23 July 2011

In case anyone was wondering why it’s been so quiet on here, don’t worry, it’s just been a busy few weeks. Husband jetted off to France for 2 weeks, leaving us to fend for ourselves. My Story

This is the story of one family’s aliyah in 2010 to the North of Israel from just North of London, beginning 26th July 2010. At the time we were a family of 3, our delightful toddling little boy was 18 months and we were expecting a new baby just 7.5 weeks later.

In 2017 we are now a family of 7, after 4 boys we were blessed with a daughter. We invite you to join the trials, tribulations and (possibly) triumphs of emigrating to the holiest, and craziest country in the world, Israel.

Sadly, in 2020, just before the pandemic hit, the family became a family of 6 when the author, Deganit, passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly, age 40.
